+ How much does it cost to join Guitar Scale Mastery?
It currently costs $67 US Dollars to join. This small fee gives you access to the course materials for three years. (This works out to be only around $1.87 per month).
+ Does this price include taxes?
Buyers from most countries will not have taxes added. The exception is if you live in one of the European Community (EC) Countries. If you live in the EC, then the applicable VAT tax will be added.
+ Why do EC Buyers have to pay tax?
Beginning July 1, 2003 all sellers of digitally-delivered products and services are required by law (known as E-Commerce Directive 2002/38/EC or the "Directive") to collect VAT taxes if the buyer resides in one of the European Community (EC) countries.
The law states that VAT must be collected from any BUYER residing in the EC regardless of the location of the seller. EC sellers have been collecting VAT from EC buyers now for some time. The new law extends the collection obligation to non-EC sellers, and is intended to level the playing field between EC and non-EC sellers.
+ Do I have to pay monthly fees?
No. The membership fee payment is non-recurring. This means that you only pay the $67 once. And this one-time payment will give you three years access to the course content.
+ What payment methods do you accept?
I currently only accept credit card, debit card and PayPal payments.
+ Do you accept payment by money order or check?
No. At this point in time I only accept payments made with credit cards, debit cards or PayPal.

+ Is it a book, DVD or home study course?
No. Guitar Scale Mastery is an online membership website. This means that once you join, you can start improving your scale knowledge within minutes.
+ What format is Guitar Scale Mastery?
The current lesson format includes...
-Online tablature (TAB) and streaming audio.
-Guitar fretboard diagrams.
-Downloadable mp3 files.
-Downloadable mp3 backing tracks for improvising to.
-Downloadable PDF worksheets.
-A downloadable bonus e-book called "Pentatonic Guitar Success". (PDF format). This is over 200 pages long and is aimed at people wanting to gain a mastery over pentatonic scale technique.
-A downloadable bonus e-book called "Scale Degree Mastery".
All lessons are fully printable, so that you can learn away from the computer. The lessons will work for both PC and MAC users.
Most of the lessons use tablature (TAB). TAB can be easily read by both left and right handed players. If you are not comfortable learning from TAB, then my course will NOT be for you.
+ I am a beginner. Will this suit me?
I definitely don't recommend joining if you are a total beginner. I recommend having at least six months experience before joining.
It is aimed advanced-beginners and intermediate level guitarists with some prior knowledge of scales.
+ What prior knowledge do I need before I join?
You should have some basic knowledge of scales and already know a few scale fingerings. You definitely don't need to be a scale guru, but some basic knowledge is needed.
You will also need to be comfortable with reading tablature (TAB). If you can't read TAB, then please don't join.
+ How much practice will I need to do?
This is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string. :-)
Do as much practice as your schedule will allow. Just work through the material at your own pace.
+ I am very busy. Can I learn at my own pace?
Absolutely. I have made the membership period long enough for to allow everyone to work through the material...even if they have a lot of other commitments.
+ Do I have to be able to read music?
No. I have included both tablature and standard notation.
So if you don't read music, just read the tablature. :-)
+ I have a slow internet connection. Can I still join?
I have optimized the lessons so that the vast majority of internet users can benefit from the course material. (Even those on dial-up connections).
+ Will this work on both MAC and PC computers?
Yes. You will be able to access and use Guitar Scale Mastery on both MAC and PC computers.
